Everyone is new to yoga at some point in their lives.  This is the perfect class for you if you desire to begin a practice. If you are not a beginner but still would enjoy a bit slower paced class, this is one for you.I offer props and modifications when necessary and I am mindful of the individual students needs.  My training helps me help you with each aspect of a yoga pose.

These classes will be for those that have studied yoga for at least a year, can do the basic asanas and have a willing attitude! They are fun classes designed to move you to a deeper level of connection in your bodies and hearts. I will offer more advanced poses and I offer modifications for those that might need them.


Ballroom Dancing

Have you ever wanted to learn to ballroom dance? Come join us for a group lesson and be ready to have an evening of fun and dancing. You will learn the American and club styles of partner dancing (like waltz, foxtrot, rumba, swing, salsa, cha cha) in a relaxed and enjoyable setting, that has both heating and air conditioning. To keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Even if you’ve never danced before or think you have two left feet. We will have you enjoying yourself and dancing in no time. No partner required. We look forward to seeing you on the floor, laughing and having fun with us, while learning how to ballroom dance. You’ll learn steps and dances that you can take with you the rest of your life and that is a beautiful thing.

The Anacortes Mindfulness Community (AMC) practices meditation and mindfulness in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, with an emphasis on cultivating mindfulness in daily life and using the support of a Sangha (community).

Please join us for weekly meditation in the Plum Village tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, where our practice is to relax and bring awareness to the beauty of the present moment.

By settling our minds on everyday gifts such as the flow of our breath and the sensation of our feet touching the floor, we strengthen our ability to embrace the complexity of our lives and the world in which we live. Everyone is welcome, no meditation experience  necessary.
